Hey, it’s Hammad here👋 and this is the About Me…
Started my journey as a content marketer in 2016, leaving my job in the field of bio-engineering for a career in digital marketing. Worked in-house at different agencies for 5 years, before switching to freelancing in the fall of 2021. Andy Crestodina of Orbit Media Solution and Jim Harmer of Backfire have been my inspirations when it comes to creating content. Saleem Ahrar 🧙‍♂️ was my first true mentor in the space. Have a proven track record of driving traffic, leads, and sales through content. SaaS and Amazon selling are where I had most of my success so far. Fully familiar with the implementation of concepts like intent alignment, information prioritization, entity coverage, entity-attribute linking, answer target framing, and other important on-page SEO stuff. I create my own briefs using my own methods but always open to suggestions and feedback.
I’ve been serving as an SEO strategist since 2023. Transitioning to this role was the next obvious step in my SEO journey after spending years creating SEO content for clients. Would attribute the step up to three people mainly: Glen Allsopp of Detailed SEO, Daniel Foley of Assertive Media, and Olga Zarr of SEOSLY. The former taught me how to think out of the box when setting up SEO strategies for clients. The latter two helped me see (and analyze) things on a holistic level and how they work in tandem, driving your search performance forward. My methodology is simple (yet thorough): Perform an extensive sitewide audit and come up with a holistic SEO and content strategy based on the audit findings. Query segmentation, click gap analysis, user behavioral study, and indexing and crawling assessments are some of the exercises I perform to shape up a website’s overall strategy and direction. Still learning and trying to get better at my craft.
I’ll always regret not getting into Bitcoin early. Deep down, I knew I had missed out on gen wealth. Enter NFTs (year 2021), and I decided to go all in, learning about how blockchain and the NFT market worked. Built connections and got into some of the biggest projects launched to date. I’d do SEO during the day and flip JPEGs at night. Also, consulted the first (and only) Pakistani NFT project to do 1000eth in total volume. I still trade NFTs and crypto whenever I get the time.
I plan to launch an SEO venture in the future. Might probably be a mix of niche SEO services and free tools built around those services. A small, focused startup. Not anything big. That’s my goal!
If you’re still here, thank you so much for taking out the time to read my story🥰. It’s not done yet, and neither am I!
